Tilda Garden View Pillow Cover Kit – Green Coloway | Songbird Collection

Bring a charming garden view to your sewing room with the Tilda Garden View Pillow Cover Kit in Green, featuring beautiful fabrics from Tilda's Songbird Collection.

Designed to resemble graceful arched windows looking out onto a blooming garden, this rectangular pillow combines soft florals, birds, foliage, and Tilda's signature color palette in a design that feels both nostalgic and wonderfully fresh. Archways frame the garden-inspired patchwork, while coordinating greens create a warm, layered look that's unmistakably Tilda.

The pillow design features six window blocks and is a lovely way to explore curved piecing on a smaller project. The finished cover measures approximately 25½" × 14", making it a beautiful accent for a sofa, bed, reading chair, or creative studio.

Whether you make it as a companion to the Garden View Quilt or let it shine on its own, this project turns a collection of gorgeous Tilda fabrics into something you'll enjoy seeing every day.

Why We Love It

We love how this design transforms traditional patchwork into something architectural and unexpected. The curved coral archways create little "windows" into the floral Songbird fabrics, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy the individual prints while creating one beautifully cohesive project.

It's also a satisfying project for a confident sewist who's ready to try curved seams without committing to an entire quilt.

Create With It

Make the Garden View Pillow as a beautiful stand-alone accent, or coordinate it with the Tilda Garden View Quilt for a complete handmade bedroom or living-space collection.

For an especially polished finish, pair your kit with coordinating thread, a fresh rotary cutter blade, and your favorite curved-piecing tools. And don't be afraid of those archways—the smaller pillow format makes this a wonderful project for building confidence with curved seams.
