Turn a plain pair of canvas sneakers into a wearable work of art that's completely, uniquely yours.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover the art of fabric decoupage as you transform your own canvas shoes using carefully chosen fabric pieces, colors and patterns.

We'll guide you through every step—from selecting a fabric palette and planning your design to applying the fabric and finishing and sealing your shoes. No experience is necessary, and there's plenty of room to experiment and create a design that reflects your own style.

Come spend some creative time around the Serendipity table, learn a fun new technique and discover the satisfaction of turning an everyday pair of sneakers into something you won't find anywhere else.

You'll leave with a finished pair of one-of-a-kind wearable art sneakers, new fabric-decoupage skills and the confidence to keep creating.

BEFORE YOU COME

Everything You Need to Know

All materials, supplies and tools needed to customize your sneakers are included, including a selection of fabrics, adhesives, application tools and finishing and sealing supplies. Canvas sneakers are not included.

What to Bring

Bring one pair of clean canvas sneakers in your size. A simple canvas style with plenty of smooth fabric surface works best. Bring quilting cotton fabric scraps you may want to use. All other materials, supplies and tools will be provided.

Skill Level: Beginner (able to fussy cut)
